Social and solidarity economy
The social and solidarity economy encompasses companies, organisations and other entities that carry out economic, social and environmental activities of collective or general interest, based on the principles of voluntary cooperation and mutual aid, democratic or participatory governance, autonomy and independence, and the primacy of people and social purpose over capital in the distribution and use of surpluses or profits, as well as assets.

Skill WAVE: Workshop for Action, Vision and Entrepreneurship - Grenada
ECLAC Caribbean will be hosting a series of capacity building workshops, meant to build entrepreneurship skills among target groups in each country. The workshops should provide tools necessary to enhance entrepreneurship and related business activities, specifically targeted toward youth and female entrepreneurs.
